Bienvenue à Paris ! Orientation for the Spring Semester of 2024 in Paris kicked off with a whirlwind of activities, setting the stage for the academic and cultural journey ahead.

After touring Reid Hall – their academic base for the semester – students headed down to the majestic Seine river for a unique boat trip offering a customary glimpse of Paris’s renowned landmarks, including the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.

After delving into the historical student neighborhoods of the Quartier Latin and the Luxembourg, visits to Sorbonne Nouvelle, Sorbonne Université, and Paris Cité provided practical insights into the academic semester to come.

A captivating trip to Provence offered a welcome escape from Parisian winter. Highlights included exploring Aix en Provence, visiting a picturesque winery, and experiencing Marseille’s diverse culture and cuisine. The adventure peaked with a breathtaking hike in Calanques National Park.

Orientation Week concluded with a lively gathering at Reid Hall, where students from various exchange programs bonded over crepes, cidre, and friendly “speed dating” sessions.
