Just returned from our jam-packed adventures in Provence, which was an absolute treasure trove of history and culinary delights.

Our field trip kicked off in Arles where we explored its magnificent amphitheater, still hosting bullfighting events today, and learned more about the city’s fascinating ancient history. At Moulin Castelas, we then got a crash course in olive oil making—tasting various oils was a definite highlight. And let’s not forget the mouthwatering dinner in Arles, a true taste of local cuisine!

Avignon’s Palais des Papes on Day 2 was impressive, to say the least. Walking through its grand gothic halls felt like stepping back centuries and gave us a glimpse of the region’s medieval past.

Blessed with amazing weather, our delicious and typically-provençal picnic by the Pont du Gard was the perfect end to our third and final field trip of the semester.
